‘Over’ is a film celebrating the work of the security team at Yew Chung International School. It allows the audience to delve into the daily life of the security guards, from their usual routines at the school to fond memories of the students here. The short film takes people on a quick journey behind the scenes into the control room, where we now rest the camera on head security guard Eric Shing. Then they are swept away to the west gate, and the security booth, where they stand guard every day, watching over every student that walks through the gate. Through this film, the audience will be able to discover more about the highlights of his job as a security guard and his own personal backstory of how he came to work at YCIS. This is a melancholic film, bringing people who normally operate behind closed doors into the well-deserved spotlight, where their efforts and dedication can truly be recognized by all to see.
